Retail Customer Advisor

Job Summary:

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded is crucial to cultivating long-term business relationships
• The timely accomplishment of store tasks on the assigned shift is mandatory
• Conducts cash register operations and conforms to the approved methods for cash management
• Following the protocols and procedures set forth by the organization and undertaking steps to prevent any potential losses is crucial
• Providing a safe work environment by making PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) mandatory for all employees
• Engages with customers and provides them with assistance when needed to enhance their shopping experience
• The commitment to restock products and place them in their correct locations is upheld
• The integration of ZNET is delivering an unparalleled level of convenience for customers to search for merchandise or locate an ideal substitute
• Ensures that product knowledge and promotional information remains updated by frequently utilizing AutoZone systems and information sources
• Apply GOTTChA Procedures and Be of Help in the Fitting of Wiper Blades, Batteries, and Light Bulbs
• Utilizes the OBDII scanner to retrieve engine fault codes from customers' vehicles
• Skill in diagnosing automobile problems and offering solutions
• Communication with managers is instrumental in addressing customer complaints and resolving employee concerns
• Focused on enhancing customer service techniques in order to improve customer satisfaction
• Provides honest and dependable recommendations to customers about the most suitable products that meet their expectations

Position Requirements:

• Individuals who meet the eligibility requirements must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or a similar degree
• It is essential to be familiar with automobile parts if you own a car
• Advanced abilities in communication and decision making
• Fluent in the art of lifting, transferring, and delivering goods
• The job requires a candidate who can work a flexible schedule that may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to meet the business and client expectations
