Responsibilities:

• Delivery Assurance through Traffic Compliance: Drive delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations, guaranteeing the safe and timely delivery of merchandise.
• During deliveries, it is important to extend courteous and proficient service to Costco members. Handle any customer inquiries or issues quickly and effectively to ensure a positive and satisfactory interaction.
• Confirm the accuracy of each shipment and notify the appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or issues.
• Consistently successful delivery performance requires optimal route planning, taking advantage of GPS systems and structured software for optimal performance. Maximize productivity and minimize fuel expenses by optimizing your delivery routes.
• Take charge of conducting regular maintenance inspections on delivery vehicles, monitoring their fluid levels, tire pressure, and general condition. Report any maintenance concerns or issues to management promptly.
• To maintain compliance with the job responsibilities, it is important to follow the company policies and procedures with regards to delivery operations. This includes safety protocols, vehicle maintenance guidelines, and delivery schedules. It is fundamental to comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Holding a pristine driving record and a valid license for driving.
• Experience in delivery driving or a similar occupation is preferred by the employer.
• Exceptional expertise in customer service with a genial and polished demeanor.
• Being proficient in moving substantial items and accomplishing taxing responsibilities associated with loading and unloading of products.
• Having remarkable detail-oriented skills and top-notch organizational abilities.
• The position necessitates the capacity to work diverse shifts, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility.
• An added bonus is having experience with GPS navigation systems and software for route planning.
• A resolute commitment to safety and compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
